Tarch, for now I am just 'thinking' about replacing the brakes. Either the caliper or the bracket has started to creak substaintially when applying the brakes (not brake squeal, something else entirely) and the there is only 1 remainig dust boot now as well. The brackets themselves are $99/ea from Ford, I figured instead of replacing the brackets I should replace the whole set-up.

As far as happy with the front brakes, well frankly they are more than adequate, I have no trouble slowing down from 135 for turn to at pacific raceways repeatedly (I run hawk blues at the track, and brake ducts have been run from extra hole in front bumper to the caliper).

I would probably do the Brembo 'R' brakes because they are inexpensive (in comparison), they look cool (gotta have a little bling) and the pads are rotors are relatively inexpensive to replace (big issue for an open track car).

Definitely go for the Brembos! One of the forums (don't remember which) is/was having a group purchase on Stoptech stuff, to that's something worth check out. Most of the pads, excluding the ones directly from stoptech, are about the same price. The pads from stoptech, if i remember correctly, are REALLY expensive, just like alcon's pads.
