it's not overly that tough to install a cam in an LS1. The hardest part was getting the rad out of the way and getting the underdrive pulley off. Take the front cover off, stick a couple wooden dowel rods down the holes in the block to keep the lifters from falling and swap the cams. Which i might say you can't remove the lifters unless you remove the heads there's no lifter valley like the 5.0 hence the need for the dowel rods.

I did also installed new valve springs again but they make a nice tool to do that with really easy.

As for the exhaust it's pacesetter headers, pacesetter ory, with a magnaflow catback with a cutout right before the rear axle. And i only rev'ed it to about 4k rpm so imagine what it sounds like at 6k :nice:
