About a month ago I ordered Magnaflow Tru Catted X Pipe and Pypes Pype Bombs exhaust. I was under the impression that with this setup it would be loud but not deafening loud. Unfortunately that's what seemed to occur so I had to get some Cherry Bomb glass pack resonators installed to quiet it down. However, due to this my exhaust is now once again too quiet for my taste. Do you guys have any suggestions on what I should do to once again increase the volume but not totally destroy my ears? Thanks!

well i think your problem is the catted x-pipe. i have magnaflow magnapacks which is a straight through(glasspack) muffler. and it was too muffled...then i got a pipes O/R (catless) xpipe and holy crap wat a difference. its alittle raspy at first but in a day or of breaking in it sounds crazy...but with the windows up its not bad at all and if you baby the gas in 5th u get almost no noise at all. my personal opinion is that magnaflow is too muffed and cats make it worse. the pipes kit cost me about $110 around there from Mustang Parts & Performance - American Muscle its deff worth the money. i would suggest returning the magnaflow catted xpipe and getting the pipes o/r. the only thing is you should get the car tuned for the pipes xpipe bc ur checkengine will go on from time to time but its just for the cats...bc there is none lol but with a tune that wont happen and youll get even more power added to the car aswell

I had the pype bombs with off road H pipe. I liked it, but it was LOUD! Didn't bother me, except that I couldn't leave work without just killing the area. I turn right and go up a hill beside the Sony Building and other recording studios in Nashville. No way to be quiet about it. I put the factory cats back on and it is perfect. Still plenty loud, but not stop recording loud.

Course, the factory cats don't flow like your HiFlow cats.

I have the MagnaFlow MagnaPacks and a MagnaFlow Tru X O/R X pipe, VERY LOUD, and Raspy, I didnt like it too much at first, but then I had a friend drive it while I stood behind the car as he took off and did a fly by, and after hearing it from outside the car, I LOVE it, luckily no sniffer test here where I live, and my Mechanic can have my car inspected without the cats being on and I will be able to pass inspection

BTW, I live in Africa, my names Jordan for any Officers out there LOL!!!!
