exhaust help plese

ok guys i'm trying to figure out which exhaust i want when my car comes in. when it comes in i want to be able to take it and get the exhaust changed within the first week or two. i have a 2004 gt currently and love the way the 40 series flows sound on it. but from what i noticed with the new 5.0 its hard to get that good bassy sound of old on them. so far i like the flow master axle back cat back system. but what do u guys like and what do u have on yours

I'm a big fan of the Borla ATAK and Magnaflow Magnapacks. That Borla S-Type sounded pretty good, though.

Depends, do you want to spend $1200 or ~$400. Borla is way too pricey IMO. You can get a Flowmaster Hushpower or American Thunder axle back for around $400 and if you want it louder you can get an offroad H for around $300.

I still have stock exhaust for now, but will probably go hushpower axle back unless Magnaflow lowers the price of their Magnaflow axle back anytime soon. Had Magnapacks on my 98 cobra and Magnaflows on my 03 cobra, I actually prefer the sound of Magnaflows on an H pipe vs. Magnapacks on an X pipe.

Should have attached a Mac Prochamber to those 'packs. I had that combo on my '01 GT and it sounded AMAZING. I got constant complements on it.

I put a magnaflow X with cats for inspection purposes. Got tired of changing out mid pipes on cars every time and inspection was due. The Pro chamber does sound good though.

Damn vehicle inspections. Glad I live in Florida. We don't have to deal with those here
