Exhaust help!!!!

i am in desperate need of a new exhaust for my 98 stang. My original exhaust fell off at the collector and since emissions is good till may 12 i decided to leave it alone but now the headers have started to rust and whats left of the exhaust now makes an extremely annoying rattling noise so its time to replace it all. I was looking for suggestions on what type of headers and exhaust setup to go with. I would like to upgrade to either a cat-back dual exhaust or go true dual but i want to keep all of the sensors and cats on to pass emissions until its old enough to not have to go... any input on the decision between cat-back or true dual would help as well as brands for the headers and exhaust

A GT setup is one route. The factory headers are actually pretty good, and you can keep the Y-pipe if you want (it's not much of a restriction unless you have forced induction, and there's no benefit to a X or H pipe on a V6).
I have the BBK duals, stock from the Y forward. I'm really pleased with how it sounds. It's mellow- not too aggressive, and it sounds about as close to a V8 as you're going to get up to 2500 RPM or so.

I still have stock headers + cats. I first had a Flowmaster 40 catback and it did a great job with sound and performance. I actually had the catback on when I did the SCT dyno runs. I now have divorce duals with Flowmaster 10's on it. I have a video of both on YouTube under "robb15033"
I suggest you do some research and then decide. The final result can turn out so many different ways and it has been the funnest part of working on my car so far.
I have researched headers quite a bit. I would go with MAC long tubes. MAC or JBA short tube if they were very cheap some how. LT Headers are the way to go.
