Friday I had my exhaust installed (MRT Axleback) and love the sound. It is deeper like Flowmasters but seem a little louder similar to Loudmouths.

However, this weekend I have noticed that the center council and shifter area feel very warm. When they installed the mufflers they dropped the exhaust at the cats for more room to manouver the mufflers off. I got under the car and the bolts on the hose clamps are tight, heat shield seems to be okay.

I dont know if this is typical with aftermarket exhuast as this is my first one.
Could this be something trans related. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks
Matt

Maybe I can help paint the picture a little better.
The car was up in the back on a jack. He just unbolted the exhaust at the cats so he had some play in the pipe to help slide the muffler off.

And something about that aint right. Here is a pic of how high I had mine (rear on ramps). All you do is unbolt the hangers, unbolt the clamp and they rotate right off. No clearance issues at all.
