exhaust leak?

well the past couple days i've ran her pretty hard. when i park the car i hear a light "poping" noise every 1-15 seconds for about a minute coming from under the car. today on the interstate when i put it in 5th i heard that exhaust leak sound. kind of a sputtering. what could this be? i pray its not a manifold gasket.

Get your car on a lift with the car started and look for the leak.
