I have a 93 notch black on black its got 103,000 miles, power windows, door locks and origanal ac, etc. Its completly factory but the wheels and slight exaust work . Does any one have a sugesstion for the best sounding exahust out there for a fox 5.0? Ive had it for 2 years and ready to do some upgrades. thanks for any responces.

What "slight exhaust "work is done? Headers...H or X pipe..etc? Do you want something loud or something a lil bit quiet? Me personally i like the sound of the Flowmasters.I had a Magnaflow cat back but wanted louder so i got the 40 Series Flows.

Two of the cats where cut off and a homemade h-pipe and generic flows were put on previously before i bought the car. I work all the time and Ive been waiting on time and saving up to do lots at once. I have a freind that has a 00 saleen with 3 inch exahust with flows and love the sound of it. but modulars and 5.0 sound diffrent to me I like the exotic sound of the modular cars. But i wouldnt trade nothing for my fox

Does the car have the stock shorty headers? If you like the sound of modular motors I'd recommend a set of shorties (Ford racing, BBK, and a ton of other companies make nice ones) and an offroad X pipe. The X-pipe makes a much more raspy exhaust note while the H-pipe generally makes a deeper, more muscle-car sounding tone. It's all a matter of personal preference and how aggressive of a sound you like. Good luck.

Chris :nice:

If you go with flowmaster, go with the 50 series, 3 chambered ones. still clearly a flowmaster sound but more unique. when paired with an off road x or h, they sound awesome.

also, IMO the best sounding combo is an off road X pipe with MAC flowpaths.
