exhaust set up opinion

ok here is what im gonna go with

BBK 1 5/8 ceramic shorties
BBK catted x pipe
dynomax race bullets with chrome tips dumping in front of rear wheels...

how do you think it will sound???

I'm sure it will sound ... loud. It will probably sound good, especially since your car isn't stock and is moving some air.

I'm not sure on the legalalities, in alot of places running dumps isn't "legal."

Get the shorties, catted X and magnaflow magnapacks. Take them all the way back. Dumps might get you in trouble. The magnapacks are quite loud You'll like them. I personally like the bassanni catted X the best of any out there. More money, but worth it IMHO.

I just thing chrome tips underneath the car is a waste -- just use regular aluminized pipe, like the rest of the exhaust, IMO. You won't see them anyway.

Miscommunication -- to me, "dumping in front of the rear wheels" meant you were putting short dumps on the ends of the mufflers right in front of the axle. Side exhaust is more like what I would have described you as wanting.

Regardless, I would go with a stainless tip over chrome, and I think it will probably sound pretty mean. How you will do it, I dunno. That's going to be a pretty sharp bend for a straight through muffler like that.

there is a local muffler shop that has a mandrel bender..ill talk to them and see what my options are.....they do alot of exhaust work on IHRA 10.5 outlaw cars...
