exhaust tips with GT bumper pic request

Dont worry I'm not asking for cutout pics like this


The reason I ask is because the gt rear bumper is kind of growing on me but with a cobra spoiler like this one on my local craigslist

I thinka 3" tip has a better resonance than 2.5" pointed straight down, so I would want it angled down slightly to where its barelly visible, anyone ever done this? I've seen plenty of pictures where people put the tips bellow the bumper but I think that looks like crap too.

That looks good,, better than cutting the GT bumper
I went with a cobra bumper I wanted the look of the GT bumper from the sides but also wanted
to run big tips with getting to close to the ground.
Can post a pic if you want

yeah post some pics. I think its because I have so much time to think about it that I keep going back and forth on what I want. I also like the saleen rear valence but it wouldnt work with gt bumper I dont think. I like the cobra also I just cant decide. I like the gt rear bumper just not with the gt wing.

I love the look of the cobra bumper with the exhaust like yours and i need to get a new rear bumper for my 89. where do you get them. i cant imagine people sell them very often. and what kind of an exhaust would i run?

Thanks, The rear cover is from https://www.cervinis.com/search.aspx?year=1991&make=Ford&model=Mustang&body=Cobra Hatchback
and latemodel restoration carries them as well, Mustang Rear Bumpers & Components at LRS - Same Day Shipping! Not cheap,but if you want OEM quality and fit, cirvinis is it IMO
and the exhuast is SLP,but run any exhaust you like as long as its an LX style.

Keep in mind the last two posters just showed you a cobra rear bumper with tails, Not a GT bumper...Im sure you knew that though

oh I thought those were just cut gt bumpers! jk yeah I knew that I've been drooling over cobra bumpers for months just havent had the money to pick one up yet.

So for the GT the cobra rear is the only alternative? I also seen one thats kind of square that starts with a D but I dont care for it.
