I bought a o/r h-pipe a little while back, and now I have decided I should go the legal way. Is it possible to get two cats and cut the pipe and weld them on. I mean i know its possible, but will the pipe still be worth putting on. Thanks Scott

It should still be cheaper than buying a catted pipe.

On the other hand, the only way to be "legal" is to pass visual inspection, which won't happen unless you put the factory H-pipe back on, so I would just leave it alone if I were you, and make buddies with an emissions place that "won't look" under your car.

I live in Michigan, so we dont have inspections. The only reason i want cats, is because I dont want to be fined for not having them.
