Im going to purchase a paxton or vortech for my 94 cobra. What type of power gains could i feel and wht should i expect? Will it be a night and day difference? Anyone have it done already and can tell me wht it felt like? Thanks everyone
I have a Paxton Novi 2000 and I havent been able to get an accurte RWHP/TQ reading on mine b/c of the slipping clutch issues I have. I only had it dynoed once but the clutch slipped at 4,2000 RPMS ( well fully slipped Im sure it was slipping in the RPM's before that point but thats when it compleatly let go). Its a shame b/c the Paxton/Vortech blowers really kick in at 3,000-3,500 RPM's so mine was just starting to get wound up. It did put down 293 RWHP and 353 FT LBS when the cluch slipped at 4,200 RPM's. Thats a pick up of 62 RWHP and 73 FT LBS. Once I get the cluch problems fixed and w/ the addition of the UPR Power pipe I should easly see a gain of 100 RWHP.
