I have always been a Ford man but have had 4 Suburbans because they are twice the vehicle, maybe thats why GM sells 10 for every Expedition Ford sells. It's worth a look, mine have all been dead reliable.

I had a 97 expy 5.4L 4x4. It was a sweet truck. I didn't like the look of the 97-98 so I converted the frontend over to the 99-03 style. Driving it is a big difference from the stang. Hope your rich cause gas will cost you $$$$. I ended up trading in the expy because you can't haul rocks, dirt and stuff in it. So I got me a 01 f150 crew cab and I love it. Its got the 4 doors for the people and the bed for hauling stuff. Just my 2 cents.

yeah im more into the expeditions and i dont need to haul rocks or anything
i found a 98 expy for $12k but it is only a 4.6L engine. im not too sure about those engines in an expy
what do u guys think? i want the 5.4 but any info on the 4.6L expy would rock!

it is a white XLT model with the 4x4 and towing package with running boards. looks pretty sweet!

Yeah mine was a 5.4L 4x4. It had leather, 6-disk CD, running boards, flowmaster exhaust, billet grill, etc. Im not sure about the 4.6 I guess it would be ok for hwy way and reg driving. If your going to tow the 5.4 would be better. For me I like power so I got the 5.4L. Check out ford truck world in the forums under expedition. You can ask people there.
