explorer accessories

I am running just an alternator and PS pump. can I use the explorer brackets and accessories??

I would not use the alternator as it is a POS. I would use the timing cover, water pump, and harmonic balancer / trigger wheel.

I have a fox timing cover and harmonic balancer already.I just need to know if I can use the old explorer brackets to mount the alternator and power steering pump.

How so? it's a 130 amp 3g, just like all the other newer fords. The mounting setup on it is weird as hell, sure, but I can't begin to fathom what would make it a POS?

Same here...The Explorer, at least the one I got 99 & 01 both use a small pump with external reservoir which is mounted up higher. Alternator runs $130 new IIRC...I thought about running explorer accessories, but I already have the 5.0 stuff...havent decided yet...

I like that it is a 130 amp 3g. how it mounts close makes extra room for a big radiator, but No one sells the mounts.

You just have to get factory accessories. My motor came with brackets, but no A/C or P/S pump or alternator.

I've got a full set of exploder accessories and bracket and everything, with a new (or new-ish) alternator, if anyone would happen to be interested, PM me.

Uh...No. Just run a smaller belt.
