explorer intake guys!!!

ok i got an explorer intake and a 1" spacer. my question is where can i get the tall outside bolts.im just using the spacer for valve cover clearance.

where did u guys get them???

I have a cobra intake and when my bolt snapped at 10ftlbs I went to a ford dealership to get them, which I was charged $11 each

I made my own' went down to my local hardware store and got a threaded rod then made my cut ' after that i got some acorn nuts for the ends ' i had ahell of a time finding 5/16" x 7 so i made my own and works well.

companies that sell the spacers sell a bolt kit along with it to accomodate the extra length.

ya you should have got a bolt kit too....but none the less my lowes had 5/16 x 7 which is stock...with your 1" spacer you will need 5/16 x 8 they had those too...dont remeber the length of the smaller outside ones just bring one and get a inch longer....
