Explorer intake wiring question

Hey all you guys that installed an Explorer intake, what did you do with the salt & pepper connectors? How did you secure them to the upper intake? The stock plastic clip just doesn't cut it for me

clip does it for me? Mine want to come down, so putting the clip on the intake secures them just fine..

thats cool...i kind of didnt want the "industrial" look, lol...i wanted to use the cover plate. so i took my chisel and cut a little notch on top, where the clip goes, like the stock intake. then i put the plate on and it fits perfectly. sorry to waste your time, lol

I used the cover plate so they wouldn't fit so I just let them sit there without being attached to anything.
