Engine Explorer - Lower intake internal cleaning

couple weeks and it didn't start eating it?,I ruined some valve covers doing that when Castro super clean first came out its bit strong but not much vs purple power? That stuff breaks down aluminum pretty good if you let on too long, this dude learned the real hardway.

Well it all depends on how much you dilute it. I went 50/50 and it just took a long time to get all the grease, clutch material, and paint off of it. I took it to my powder coater and he bead blasted it and had him clear coat it.

I forget how long I left the valve covers in purple power, think is was over night for a day, maybe two.. It literally ate the gasket rail, I was pissed to because the where the harder to find 91- up stock ones without the support ribs in them, I tried to weld it up years later but was point less, it was so crystallized it just crumbled.
