I got my explorer throttle body all set up and installed with a 65mm egr delete plate. I have taken it for 2 drives and both times the throttle reponse it not good, i actually stalled it out once. with my stock throttle body and stock egr set up the throttle response was really good. i use to barely have to touch the gas to get my car moving from a stop.
has anyone had this issues with the explorer throttle body? i tested the tps and my voltmeter read .90 at warm idle. i idle at about 800 rpms, it's just the throttle response when i am at a stop is no good.
any advice?
oh and i had to remove the cruise control cable off of the throttle cable because it was pushing up against the coolant hardlines on the upper intake because everything was moved closer to the upper intake due to the egr delete plate.
thanks for the help!
