They don't seem very expensive, and if they, based on the replies I get here, seem like they'll help my car towards my ends I will surely get them... as in my other threads, I am looking to build a car that can handle while remaining as fast as possible with a big engine in the straight line.. would export braces/and or monte carlo bars stiffen the body too much for weight transfer (though I could take them off at the track) or would they be good for overall handling?

I definatly noticed an improvement in handling when I added my monte carlo bar. If you are adding a big high horsepower/torque engine then any body/chassis stiffening is advisable. Otherwise you may encounter body twist and stress cracks may develop in the car. I would also consider sub frame connectors aswell. Monte Carlo bars and export braces are a good idea anyways as the shocktowers on mustangs will over time tend to fall inwards. The only deterent is if they get in the way of your engine combination.
