so today i took my car out for a drive im about to head home when up ahead i see a red firebird, not sure what year but im guessing 98ish. i think to myself wow those are some big tailpipes, they looked like 3''. but anyway im just goin 40 crusin by him when he gives me a nod and a rev. so i dropped it into 2nd and waited for him to go. i step on it all the way through 2nd and got a length and a half on him and let off. he comes flyin by my waving his hand out the window motioning "see ya later". well we end up at a stop light. heres where it gets good. its a middle aged man of about 40 and his wife/SO/bar what have you and there making out!! then she looks over and says "wimp". then proceeded to play with her gum and say "HA we'll blow you away!" and the guy who was obviously going through a midlife crisis says "LT1". so by this point my girlfriend and i are cracking up. well the light turns green, i roll out a little and wait for for him to step on it, i hit it till top of 3rd and have 6 lengths on him so i tap my brakes and return the "see ya later". they come flying by and the bar gave me the one finger salute.

pure gold. i wish i had this on film so i could plaster how much of a douchebag this guy and his SO are all over the internet.

I've seen that scene so many times. The kind that wear sunglasses at nighttime and have loud conversations about BS on thier cell phones trying to look like big shots. What a douch, your car smokes his because yours is faster, not because you did something wrong. I love quizzing those guys about the different systems in thier cars and making them just look like what they are.

its a relay that transfers the signal from the engine coil to the coils in the rear. rev it up and press the button, raw gas runs through the motor and and lights at the plugs in the pipes. to make it even better i use my wet nitrous system to dump more fuel.

yeah i know its not good for the cylinders or the plugs or the oil. thats why i dont do it that often.

I had basically the same thing happen... I was in my old 83 GLX Vert... I pull up to a light with an LS1 Camaro... Guy is 40ish, with his wife/girlfriend. I look at them and laugh... She rolls her window down and says "We'll give you a head start!" I said "I don't need a head start" Remember, this car was extremely rough... ripped top at the time, just not a looker... Light turns green and I instantly put 3-4 car lengths on him till about 70 and let off... He doesn't do the fly by.. he does worse... It's a road with a 50 mph speed limit... I was laughin so hard and slowed to 25 mph and he WOULD NOT PASS ME!! He had to have been so embarresed. lol

hahahha good kill, i hate people like that, or guys with a stock mid-80ish corvettes with their woman friend in the car that try to race you and think because they have a corvette they have the fastest car ever, then you smoke em and they take the next turn or pull up next to you and say that they missed a shift or some lame excuse..haha
