F-Body T56

Anyone know the differences between those and a T56 in a cobra, i want to install one in the fox, but the DD kit for 4k seems a bit steep, so i was looking into other options and found a few F-body t56's for around 800ish i know they have hydraulic clutches, how hard would it be to incorporate the hydraulic system or convert it to a standard cable system and install it in my fox, so basically im asking is it possible

I inquired about this myself a few weeks back. A buddy of mine has a Camaro SS and he's stepping up to a TH400 from the T-56. He told me I could have his T56 but it would have to be completely rebuilt. I remember him saying the input shaft is completely different as are a few other things. He mentioned the hydraulic clutches too. I don't know **** about transmissions. I'm sure there are guys on here way more qualified than me to answer. But, I heard there were too many differences to make it worth it.

I believe the shifter is set further back and you would have to cut the tunnel
