I was wondering if anyone has a F-cam with AFR heads. I am getting AFR 165cc heads in about 2 weeks and was wondering what size pushrods I need. I will getting new pushrods that are hardened for use with guideplates and needed to know if I just get the stock size or they need to be longer or shorter? Thanks for any help.

I'd just check em for proper VT Geom and then you will know what size to order.

There are various sites that give details and some of them even tell how to make your own adjustable pr if you want to go the poor boy route.

Definately get an adj length checker. I had a custom similiar to a f-cam with AFR 165's. The length I used was 6.4. If it turns out that you need this size, I'll sell you my manely chromemoly's for $60 + shipping. But, check on the length first.

Thanks for the replys! The only problem that I would have with checking it is that it is my daily driver, so I don't know if I could tear it down, put on the heads and check the length, then order them and have to wait a couple more days for them to get here. I was asking this because of that reason. I was just hoping that someone else had this set-up.
