F*$k! this weekend!!

Ok....so this weekend started as finishing welds on my torque box, installing my new KYB shocks and quads in the rear as well as installing some stock upper and lower control arms I picked up with poly bushings installed and putting the tank back in place....and turned into hell. All that stuff took up Saturday because we ran into a bunch of stupid problems with different stuff, but ended up finishing it and the rear suspension is stiffer than my friends 08 Charger R/T ...and I still have to re-install the sway bar. Well today we head back over cause my friend is putting tires on my old ponies and giving me his 10 holes to put on the car cause the wheels/tires I have on it now are shot...well, we run way hot on the way over and take a look.....the freeze plug on the front(thank god!) passenger side head is bad and leaking water, so we pull of all the accessories, yank it, tap in a new one....put her all back together and fire up.....now water is coming out of the back of the engine!! We're pissed cause we don't wanna yank the engine to change a rear freeze plug so I get up under the car and see the water is coming from the middle of the intake where I can't see it, but at least it's not the freeze plug. Anyhow...to make an already really long story shorter, his metal coolant tubes that run along the lower intake rotted through and we had to cut them, grind them down and replace them with heater hose Never did get the damn tires/wheels swapped out This story also excludes the 3 hour ordeal of my g/f loosing her mind and trying to run me over with my land rover and the before mentioned dodge charger. And that's my rant

that sucks. i agree about the weekend sucking though, someone broke into my car and stole my ipod

a guy got killed in my neighborhood at a block party last summer when he got into a fight with his girlfriend, she freaked out, hopped in the car, hit him with an SUV and proceeded to drag him a few blocks before stopping

I can some what relate. I picked up my car from getting my torque boxes welded up which so f-ing bad I had to take it to a racing fabricater to get fixed, and then on my way home my driver side mufler fell off and I had to stop and wire hanger it up. Good luck w/ the gf and take those keys from her.

Yeah, look up my post on "need suspension help." My torque box actually ripped out of my car. I spent at least 3 hours of prep work beating it into place and heating and bending on it, then a good 5-6 hours of meticulous welding on a car parked in the dirt with only jack stands, ugh! that's been the last 2 or 3 weekends. This weekend was supposed to be the easy part!!!

I have no welding skills so farming it out saved me alot of headaches and it was only $250 to.

well i like psycho's semd her my way! NOT! thats the best thing about my g/f not having a licences plus us not living together! i do what i want when i want how i want and where i want! I've learned after my last relationship (of 12 years) no is worth it! theres tons more out there!sorry about your weekend to! peace
