f/s: 86 GT in RI...

Hey guys, financial trouble forces me to sell my project. It's a 86 GT (no t-tops). It was originally a T-5, but the owner before me swapped it to an auto for his wife. Anyway, I hanked the tranny out and I was going to put a t-5 back into it, but I find myself with no funds to continue. Here are some pictures of the car. As you can see, I have done some body work to it. The doors and the hatch are off of a 89 and are rust free! I also had started on the rest of the body, but have not finished it. You can see in the pics where I had painted the jams in prep for the rest. It has a fiberglass 2" cowl induction hood and i do have the stock hood. As a Auto body guy, I know she needs some surface work but the car seems pretty solid. Car and motor have 136k miles on them. motor seems to run good, but could use some gaskets. Looks like age is getting to them. Any questions, ask! asking $3000/best

other stuff I have available separately (will combine w/ car for a package price):
- Auto transmission (C4, i assume) - needs rebuild(came out of this car)
- 86 GT bumper cover - different one than on the car, good shape, couple minor cracks
- Side panel glass form 89 (both sides)
- Lakewood traction bars
- rebuilt T-5 tranny (was going in the car, but never made it)

all stuff is for pick-up in Coventry, RI. Some parts I may meet within a local distance. car obviously needs tow.

sorry I haven't replied guys. I never got email notices, so I never checked back. My bad...i forgot to turn on notification. :bang: Since my post, I have finished getting the T5 in and painted the car. It is for sale as a whole, in running condition. Anyone interested, let me know.

Sorry, I forgot to edit that. I cannot let this car go for $1500 with a new paint job and a rebuilt T5. Asking price right now is $3000/best and I will through in all the extras. (traction bars, frame connectors, 89 side glass, f/g cowl hood(needs work), and some extra paint to get hood painted if you fix it)

oh yea....I am going to put the rest of the moldings back on. I have to take them off the old doors still :bang:
