With your combo i would shift around 5700-5800. I think the performer dies off around 5500-5700 and the p heads start to die off around 5500. You are probably not making any more power from 5500-6000...but it wont necessarily fall off real bad. I wouldnt shift any higher than 5800...just not worth it.

And no you dont really want the RPM intake...that will bring your power band up past where you're heads stop breathing well. You're setup is matched up alright. A custom cam would probably wring out a little more power and probly some low end torque though.
 
The F can be shifted to 6500 on an EFI car.. I would think 6000 will pull a lot of power.. your intake will carry that with ease !! You can over rev the HP rating to drop you back into good torque rating!! JUST BE SURE the springs on the P's are up to the camshaft!! or you WILL be rpm limited!! or could cause a lot of issues!! cool??

Had one in a 91 GT. GT40 inrons mystery roller rockers/pushord/lifter set up. Cobra intake....it pulled all the way up to 6200RPM's. It felt like it wanted to keep going, but I was scared I was gonna blow up my car!!

if gt40 heads die at 5500 on a 331, they are pointless on a 351? I want the limiter at 6000
