:nice:

373'S, UNDERDRIVE PULLEYS 70mm THORTTLE BODY AND INTAKE SPACER AND 70 EGR SPACER, COLD AIR, MASS AIR. stall converter2500, headers x pipe, yada ydad full exhaust but well easier put stock internals and stock heads. u dont think the cam will be to big for stock heads. i will be changing the valve springs also. let me know thanks.

Your stock intake is probably going to hold you back. Stock they are pretty restrictive.

You have several different choices.

1. Have the stock lower ported. Do a search on the screen name tmoss. He ported my explorer lower for me and did a great job. If you can't take the car down to send your lower out then you can probably pick one up for around 20 bux.

2. Swap out to an explorer intake. Readily available on eBay but make sure that you get one with the internal EGR passage. I believe that they got rid of the internal passage on the 98s. The explorer, cobra and GT40 all share the same style lower. The uppers are what is different and I believe that the only difference between GT40 and the explorer is that the true GT40 is tubular. Could be wrong. It happens from time to time :p

3. Buy a used aftermarket intake, i.e. Trickflow, Edelbrock, Holley etc. Really unless the intake has been damaged then used should function just as well as new. Its just, well, been used already.

4. New aftermarket intake. The most expensive choice but you know that its brand new and should have no problems.

I also agree with speedy on the converter. Personally I would go with a larger stall speed. But you have it so I would put the cam in and see how it reacts before changing it out based on our advice. You might like it just fine.

The gear and the stall should be coordinated for good street driveability. 3:73 & 4:10S work well with ~3,000 stall. Converters are all over the place in efficiency also - buy a GOOD ONE. Do your homework.

yea but i drive it on like fri sat and sun its got 40,000 miles on it and i just didnt wanna have ne drivability problems i figure the 2500 would be fine...no? its allready in the car by the way lol. but yea intake is also a must i forgot to mention . got the edlebrock performer coming or either a systemax cant make up my mind i think there both good intakes.

The edelbrock and the holley are both good intakes. I currently run a TFS track heat.

My only concern on the intake was that you would be disappointed with the cam with the stock intake and it would suck to remove and reinstall an intake twice, once with the cam and then to replace the intake. Good luck with the cam hope it works great for you.

so u think it ll be fine with a systemax intake and that f303 with my other mods? i just want it to drive fine will be puttin heads on it very shortyl and a p-1sc so thatnks for ur input it was a big help.
