Anyone put a 4.25" stroker crank in a factory block? Will it fit?
Particularly, I'm curious about clearing the pan rails, the oil pump pick up tube and the cam journal area. I know the bottoms of the cylinder bores would need clearencing.

You have to worry more about the rod design with the cam than the stroke. My eagle rods are made for a stroker the the cap screws are place so they wont hit the cam.
When I did my 95 roller block and a 4.1 crank I had grind the piston bore a bit and I had to grind a casting mount next to the oil pump, thats it. Get a set of cheap bearings drop the crank in, then sharpie the areas that it hits. Grind then wash you block.
