I was wondering if anyone could help me source a part on the factory air box. I am looking for the compression ring/clamp that holds the air box to the tube connecting to the mass air sensor.

I have googled to no luck. Haven't had any luck looking on eBay. I only need the clamp so I don't want to pay hundreds of dollars for the entire air box and tube.

If anyone knows the of the proper name or part number that would be helpful. Or has one for sale even better.

Circled in red below.

Spring tension clamp.

What's the diameter there? 4"

Found this in a quick search.

You could also just use a hose clamp as well.

Unfortunately I think used may be your only shot.

Take a trip to a junkyard and see if there are any other 5.0 engine cars from that era. The airbox on those (or other fords) may have the clamp you need.
