Factory forged

I've read show much junk trying to get up to speed with these motors lately, but I need something cleared up.

'86 was the only year that had the flattop pistons
part of '92 there were hypereuectic pistons
'87-93 except for ^ were all forged pistons with valve reliefs??

I'm pretty sure you are correct on the 87-93 having the forged pistons. But it might have stopped in 92. Don't know for fact.

87-92 had forged pistons with the small valve reliefs. 93's had the lighter pistons. I've heard 92's made late in 92 also had the lighter pistons, but I have seen no evidence to confirm or deny it.
