Factory Radio??

My factory am/fm, cassette radio in my 1991 Mustang LX, 5.0 Convertible, keeps going off and on, (MOSTLY OFF). It will work for awhile, then nothing for days, then suddenly come on!!

I removed the radio, and put another factory radio in its place, and nothing!!

Any ideas what the problem could be?

Is there a connection somewhere under the hood that could be loose or corroded?


I am going NUTS without tunes.

Check the fuse, if not clean all the connections
