Newbie (88 T-top GT) here with question on cause and fix of instruments looking fuzzy at night. See pic.

Looks pretty bright for an 88 . Are you talking about the bleed through on the black ?

Yes. No issue with speedo but the rest is a mess.
I bought it from original owner with 104k documented miles... if that matters.

The glue holding the face to the plastic is starting to separate, causing the bleed thru.

Not sure what glue is compatible to repair it.

You can purchase an 87-89 cluster and pirate the tach and left hand guages from it to replace that portion. The cluster is somewhat modular with interchangeable parts
