MY 90 lx 5.0 failed the "Pressure Test." They crimp some hose in my engine compartment (to the charcoal canister I think) and then attach a big pump to my fuel filler pipe and pressurize it, not sure how high. They are saying there is a leak somewhere. I've installed a new fuel pump and inspected the lines and fittings and can't find a problem. Anyone have any suggestions on what else to check?

Also, anyone know what size my front sway bar is?

it means that a evap hose is off or broken. check your evap hoses from the EVAP canister in the engine compartment to the gas tank.

i worked in AZ for about 1yr and i repaired at least 5 of those types of failures a week(normally had to lower the gas tank to replace a evap hose).

pollution wise; with the hose broken, it's almost like not having a gas cap on the car. lots of HC

where in phoenix are you??

I live in Gendale but work in Tempe. Thanks a ton for the advice, I've been reading my Chilton's forever trying to figure this out.
