Took mine off because I had to have the trunk repainted and they replaced it with the wrong one. Anyway I used a hair dryer to heat it up and it came right off. I cleaned up the residue with WD40. Beware though there are 2 guide holes under there that will remain once its removed.

it's double side taped on. Good luck taking it off. You'll have to have the 2 holes filled if you'll want it to look like it was never there.

Very nice! It does look much better without the emblem and no spoiler.

Did they have any problems filling the emblem and lock holes? What did it cost to fill the holes and repaint the trunk if I may ask?

They filled the spoiler and emblem holes, shaved the lock, and painted it for $500.00.
There were problems...........only because I took it to a place where the painter must have been on crack............they had my car for 3 weeks.
