Took mine off because I had to have the trunk repainted and they replaced it with the wrong one. Anyway I used a hair dryer to heat it up and it came right off. I cleaned up the residue with WD40. Beware though there are 2 guide holes under there that will remain once its removed.INTRUDER said:How does it come off?

There were problems...........only because I took it to a place where the painter must have been on crack............they had my car for 3 weeks.
