Fan shoud clearance inssue

hey all,
i installed some solid motor mounts(keep opinions to your self) today and also a new radiator. its a autozone 100.00 special but it has warranty, which was good cause the first one was busted...anyways; i could not get the shroud to line up and not hit the fan, the radiator seems to be the same size. now as far as the motor being higher from the mounts idk but i would think the solids would put it back to stock?? my hood still closes easily.... what i did was shove two pieces of small hose into the rubber grooves that the radiator sits on, this would work but i think its beyond ghetto? any ideas or maybe where i cang et those rubber grooves that the radiator is suppose to sit in???
