yesterday i parked the car and noticed that the fan was still on. i thought maybe it was just trying to cool itself down. but 4 hours later the fan was still on and the battery had been drained.

there wasnt enough juice to start the car. i disconnected the plug connecting to the fan so it wouldnt continue to drain the battery.

i'm really hoping this is a common problem and has an easy fix.

can anyone point me in the right direction?

keep in mind that i suck at electrical stuff. i was able to intall an electric fan onto my 65 stang and i can do some simple stuff, but not much (as far as electrical goes).

thanks everyone.

The radiator fan is operated by the Constant Control Relay Module, which is mounted within the passenger side fender. The right inner wheel plastic liner (splash shield) must be remove to access it. A stuck relay in the CCRM would cause the fan to stay on with the key off.
