So far, the SN65 has been at four different race tracks.

These are (in no particular order) the Autobahn, Road Atlanta, Putnam and Road America.

So far, Road America has been the most notable.

At Road America a "member" took Wayne for a ride through the "Kink" at about 120. He said that with a little tweaking here and there (different shocks and springs, etc...) he bets he would be able to run the kink at about 140 plus or minus.

Now I know that these numbers are highly subjective, but they do not sound to shabby to me, especially for what is basically a street car.

OBTW, from what I understand, most AIX cars pass through the Kink in the 115 to 120 range.

Has anyone here driven on Road America? If so, what were you driving and how fast have you been through the kink?

Sounds like the car is performing up to snuff. If you want to talk about improving the handling, talk to the guys in the 4.6L forum. Did you ever end up actually building the fire and ice project cars ? I didn't really follow it.

THanks for the heads up, although we think we have it performing pretty well at this point. The folks at Bob Kurgan Motorsports and Maximum Motorsports and DSS and Ford Racing have been extreamly helpful in fine tuning things.

As far as Fire and Ice go, we are well on our way. Chassis work has all been completed (although we still have to install the finished cages). We are concentrating on the 66 coupe right now. We are going to expect quite a bit from this car. 1,100 HP, 1,000 FPT, 8 sec 1/4 mile times, 220 MPH top end. 0 to 200 to Zero in a standing mile, etc...

Wish us luck, we are going to need it.
