It has less than 1% Mustang parts on it, nothing "Mustang" about it if you ask me, unless the airbrushed logos count.

Pretty silly eh? The Supercharged Cobras of 03-04 are faster than that with street tires. Hell my little old 97 Cobra is that fast (SVTs website says 13.7)!

But keep in mind, put some 7" wide bias plys on those cars and see what they'd do.

Man, I don't know if any of you have had the oportunity to stand at the end of the track when top fuelers are comin' at you, but it's pretty much like lookin' at the space shuttle coming straight at you full speed...

I've seen both. I definitely have to say the top fuel is WAY more exciting. Even if you were blind and deaf, you could feel the sound waves go right through you.

The shuttle is exciting for the shock wave, but watching it silently drop from the sky is pretty uneventful. Take-off, however, is a completely different story!

I'm not gonna question their performance, the stats and trophies speak for themselves.

But just what is it they are representin? Not Ford Power, what with the Dodge motor and all.

http://www.geocities.com/eskoufos/shelbyfaq.html - has anyone seen this? Even though the 1/4 times isn't quite complete on all Shelbys, but it does incidate that 65 GT350R with 289 4V, 350 hp ran 12.9 @ 110 mph - I think GT350R is the racing version?
