feel like I got no power. HELP

i did a motor swap the motor came from an 89 i put it my 91 lx notch im still runing the 4cyl rear end temp till i get the time to swap out to my8.8 the cr is stock except for bbk ahortys and xpipe with cats no 02's and no smog stuff hooked up all the egr stuff is caped off temp for now and its an aod now the harness has conectors cut off but i have another harness to swap in im just wandering whats with the power drop it has power wen im at a stop and get on it it smokes tire since its a peg leg lol but wen i punch it it feels like it flat lines maby cause the harness is from a 93 and is choped up plus no 02's ima swap harness tomarrow and see what happns anyways all help is welcome thanks

Well, not to be rude, but if you are running the car with a hacked up harness and no O2 sensors...what do you expect?

i got another harness to put in. no sensors disconected just oxygen ones, and also the hacked up part is the two conectors the green and grey that are next to the ecu there cut off, all other electrical is conected. i was wandering, do i need to have the egr solanoid hooked up since the little vac lines broke?

Yes, you need o2 sensors, but you do not need the EGR working. Unsure what the two connectors are by the EEC but i think one is the door speaker and another is unhooked normally.

Get your o2 hooked up and dump the codes and see what comes up
 
No o2's with a catted pipe isn't helping much. might be a good idea also to hook up the smog pump since you are running cats and o2's to feed them fresh air. you are going to have to run a KOEO test and get codes chances are with a hacked up harness you are going to have codes everywhere, that are probally going to be harness related vs sensor failure related. getting a good harness in there is going to the best bet and then make sure you connect everthing and double check your work. a hacked into harness is always a nightmare, not impossible, but alot of work to correct and chase everything down to get it right.
 
In all seriousness, EGR isn't necessary and shouldnt effect your potential. A few days ago my good friend dyno'd his '86 converted to mass air with no o2 sensors and cranked down 200/280 on a stock block/stock headed motor with 80k. It runs rich, and it it catless, but it has cracked 14.00's at the track set up like that. Install a fresh harness that isnt hacked up and it should clean up.. Check your TPS and TFI module aswell... I feel like your issue is with sensors and not simply a lack of o2 sensors. Also, the AOD may be slipping/making it feel sluggish:shrug:

something else to consider, the aod cars were a full second slower in the 1/4 than the t5 mustangs...they were all rated 16's in the 1/4 and they feel slow. It's quite possible that there is nothing wrong at all with the car. Get your wiring issues all sorted out, then have it dyno'd or take it to the track. That'll give you a baseline to compare to others with similar setups.

lol yea aod sucks but when it was in the donor car it ran beter then now. so im thinking it might be the oil pump along with hacked harnes my oil gage is at 0 or it stays since the harnes is hacked to ****. im stump.
