hey everyone I had a question hoping some of you mustang guys would have an answer to. I'm new to muscle cars especially mustangs. Now my car feels like it has little acceleration in first and second but after 3000k rpm it gets better but then after 4000-4500 rpm it feels like it's struggling again. I didn't notice it much because I'm new to muscle cars but after a buddy pointed it out it makes sense. Now my mods are cold air, edelbrok upper and lower intake, shorty headers, o/r h pipe, slp loudmouth cat back (that I just recently put on), smog delete, ac delete, misihmoto radiator. I bought this car about a month ago guy said it was dyno tuned and can only run on 93 octane gas. Anyone know why I might be lacking power?
Also forgot to mention once I get on the gas the check engine light will come on. (Edit sorry) once car warms up and I'm at a red light car dies out if I don't give it gas
Thanks in advance

Ooo-k, first off, don't tease us with a pic of the dog house (see what I did? dog? no power? Geez tough crowd.
Show some pics of the rest of that ride, you get much better advice with pics of your car or beer with strange names,
Next call the previous owner and ask for a copy of the dyno sheet, he likely can't find it but it's worth a try.
Now lets get to work on your car:
Check for codes, there are instructions in the tech section, It was put together by jrichker, who is much smarter than me but then, so is most everybody here, it is always the first place to start and I recommend do'n this periodically.

guy said said he doesn't know where the dyno sheet is which makes me question if he ever even did it in the first place

Another thing to look at, you appear to have an updated alternator, check out the 3g up grade in the tech section, if it is not done correctly it could be tragic.

This is on my list to do also, glad you guys have a post on this. When doing the alternator upgrade, what else besides the guage wire needs to be upgraded ? Like the coil ? Battery ? ect .. Want to make sure i have a total budge for it all.
Also what bout putting a 140 Amp, or 160 Amp, or a 200 Amp. Does it matter if you go higher then 140 ?

I'd say short of having a big stereo system, or a race car with electric fan, water pump, multiple fuel pumps, etc, Not much need to go beyond 130 amps.

Basic fox with e fan will run fine on 130A, or even 110A
