Lately my 01 Gt has been hit or miss performance wise. My TOB started squeeling a few months back, and ever since it started squeeling and chirping I have noticed the car acting funny every now and again.

This is what is going on aside from the chirping TOB:
The car sometimes will grab hard at WOT chirping the tires and snapping me back into the seat, while other times I can't even get the 1-2 shift to hardly chirp the tires. I really dont notice any kind of slipping from the clutch at all, but the car seems like it just runs out of steam after 3000 to 3500 rpms, and the shifts feel "gooey" at best. There are even times from a stand still that I will get on it a bit and the car just does not feel like its going very fast at all. Again I never feel the clutch slip, trac-control is always off, and my tires arent spinning, but the way it is accelerating you would swear that the tires were smoking, and unfortunatly they are not. It is like my car is having an asthma attack or something.

As for the squeeky TOB I have tried the lithium grease trick...and my TOB still squeeks after many times of coating it with the grease, also these problems were occuring long before I put any lithium grease on the TOB, so I'm by no means worried that I greased up my clutch...

as for mods on my car I have kn FIPKII, magnaflow catted x, magnapacks, pro3i subframe connectors, uca's and Lca's, pro 5.0 shifter, and a set of 4.10 gears.

I am getting some long tubes in the next few weeks....so if my clutch is gone I might as well have the shop replace it at the same time...If anyone has any input that might help me out I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks
