Rusty. Some of you know that I have been looking for a foureye as a new project. Well over the weekend I took the plunge. Rusty is a 1984 factory 5.0 TTop notch. The car is a little rough, hope I'm up for the challenge. I just couldn't pass it up being a notch, a real 5.0, and a true factory ttop. We won't rest til it's PERFECT not looking to do a restmod, but you'll know it's a foureye(on steroids). I'll try to keep up with pics as we go.

Having a rough time figuring out how I can fit an intercooler, our daughters are begging me not to do anything cause they want to drive it around this summer, it reminds them of our 88vert we used to have.

well you know......i got an 88 vert ...it will be for sale later on this year sometime

j/m you should build your kids a vert.

THIS was the car I made the post about.

You missed it all Trbofox, I was actually at Joes house when you called on your way (helped him bring the car from his uncles to his house) so I got home and decided to make a post hoping you would come back and let us know what your planning, or if you plan to keep hush hush.

Needless to say things got out of hand but glad to see you got it back in one piece.

If I had the time and money I would have bought it off Joe and built something with it, but at least it's in good hands! :D

I thought for sure you overheard him talking about upgrading to twin t-70s :-(

When he was talking to Joe? I didn't overhear anything, and was actually going to swing by when he dropped in and got the car, but figured that wouldn't be the best thing to do, look over a car with a crowd watching, lol!
I wish you would have stopped over, Dave and Stef were there. It wasn't a very high pressure thing, the car was what it was, and it was an easy decision. It's gonna be fun, and Julie and I are alot smarter about how to go about things now. Turbos are definitely in the cards.

Oh really they stopped in? Of course Joe calls when he needs help moving it, but not when people come by and hang out.

LOL

Yeah, I say go street cruiser with it, some nice touches (82 GT nose :D) and make sure it's as clean as the notch you have now.

Very cool. Can't wait to see how this turns out. :nice:
