Fender Roll & T5 Question

Whatever it costs get it done or your going to be dealing with this.:bang:
They have the tool that you can rent and do it yourself if you wanted to give it a shot, just take your time if you do and roll just a small amount at a time. These are something you really want to work up and in very slowly.
There is a recent post on this the last week or so you can look up as well for more info.

THat pic there....did they use a heat gun. Man that would suck. I'm in the same route as having to roll after the car has been painted. To say I'm scared is an understatement. I plan on using the tool and a heat gun w/ some guys that have done numerous lip rolls. But there is always that what if.

No heat gun used, I pulled it out really bad backing up a few weeks ago, lip was facing straight down it was that bad.
I don't think a fender roller would have helped at that point, it was to much angle to return without damage.
I rolled it by hand with a 1" pipe the best I could then pounded it back in place.
I was actually pretty surprised the lip split open like that afterwards.

I posted that pic to show why not to wait to do it after the larger tires are on or paint. It's not a repair I can't handle but since it was avoidable I'm kinda PO-ed.

There's been some good posts here lately about fender rolling, I'd be worried though with that heat gun but it's no doubt nessesary to soften that paint.
Good luck w/ yours, practice w/ that heat gun if you decide to do it yourself on another object to get used to it and take lots of time doing the rolling.
