what is the difference between a 275/40 & 275/45? is it taller, wider?? also what is the max size i should go on front with 17x9 wheels? also, anyone know anything about sumitomo htrz2II's? are they any good, or just cheap knock-offs? thanks.
275 is the width of the tire in mm's. The 40 and 45 is the size of the sidewall, as a percentage of 275. So the 275/45 is taller than the 275/40 (meaning it has more sidewall).
