I figured I put all my questions in one thread so here they are.

First, is there any difference in the instrument cluster in an auto verses manual. I noticed that my car has a light that says OD off which is overdrive off obviously. Did ford put all the same clusters in the 94-95 and then just not use that light in the manual or was it a different cluster?

Also is there any difference in the shifter bezel in an auto verse manual car?

and my last question is would an auto computer cause a car with a manual trans swap to hang for like 2 secs when you shift or is that most likely the IAC valve.

Thanks for your help.
Also on the first question I need you to be really specific. If ford did use the same clusters on the manual and auto, was the bulb for the OD off missing or is there no OD off symbol all together. Im trying to make the trans swap completely undetected.

dont worry about the cluster, it works fine with manual

i belive the ECU pulls timing when it wants to shift

the bezel... their both the same size but the manual one has a leather (or pleather) boot attached whereas the auto one is just open

ok thanks for the info. I know the auto cluster works fine with the manual and Im not gonna change it but I was just wondering if the OD Off symbol was also on the manual cluster.

Now on the manual bezel, is the shifter boot glued on or screwed on. The reason I ask is because right now there is a universal boot that hangs low and doesnt attach to the bezel at all. It looks cheezy like that.
