I'm getting ready to buy a new hood and I'm not sure which company to buy from. I know Cervinis has the best reputation, but I could save alot of money buying from someone else. Has anyone bought a hood from Design Concepts, or Liberty mustang supply? If so, what did you think about the quality and fit?

For what its worth, i'm going to go with Cervinis for a new hood, because the one that was on the car when i bought it...shudders in the wind...when i'm cruisin 50mph+

I am a little suprised that you had trouble with the Harwood. I had one with no shudder, and a friend with a 90 GT 401/76gts turbo who like to go 200mph says he has no problems either. But I am not calling you a liar or anything. Cervini's are the best I have ever seen- period. Don't get cheap, you get what you pay for...

Must just be this one

It doesn't dance much- but it's noticable. I paid $500 for it. It's double ply and everything

I just had a Cervini's Air Extractor hood installed. The shop that did it does a lot of custom stuff and they said it was one of the best pieces of 'glass they've ever worked with. It turned out great.

hood pins or latch. pins might be loose, or the latch may be a little loose?? Also, there shouldn't be alot of play on the hood if you grab the corners (flex). If so, you might want to invest in some new rubber hood bushings. Are they crusty looking and flat on top- if so, get new ones. They are rubber and should be pretty soft, but have good support. hope that helps.

Not trying to hijack, but we already answered Dude's other question
