i have a 1988 LX fox that i am semi restoring and i have a fiberglass hood to go on the car and the car will eventually be street/strip so im gonna put 4 hood pins on the car and make it just a lift off hood, any suggestions on making that install easier on me
if it will be a liftoff hood, I'd recommend Dzus fasteners. It is a cleaner look and easier to get the hood on and off.. Either way, make sure you put a few layers of masking tape on the hood to minimize any chance of cracking, install the pins or Dzus fasterner holderss and use a piece of clay on to mark on the underside where to drill the holes when you have the hood aligned. Drill from the bottom with a small pilot hole and step up the bits, going slow.
