So I picked up a '93 Cobra style rear spoiler for my son's '86 GT. One of the threaded inserts for bolting it on is missing and another spins. What do I need to do to repair and replace them? Pic attached.

@Davedacarpainter do you have any advice?

I'm thinking either epoxy putty or fiberglass but I won't really have access to the backside for fiberglass work.

If one is just spinning an epoxy type glue would work fine.

I can’t judge by the size of the hole in the picture. Do you have the stud that goes into it? Post a picture of it side by side with the hole if you would please. Otherwise just dig up a new one that’s similar in size and epoxy it in as well.

It will, Sand the area where you’re going to use it with a heavy grit sandpaper (36/40 grit).
