figuring out what year your motor is

i know people said back by the starter there are numbers. I looked and couldnt find any, could someone take pictures and circle in red where i should look. thanks

You have to remove the starter to see the #'s. Otherwise you'll never find them. If your motor is COMPLETELY original and untouched, it would also have a thin metal tag bolted to the intake with the build date and other info there also
