Final numbers on the snake.

Well I finally got my car down to Mobile Alabama and let James@RWTD work his magic. It was hot & nasty to say the least, but after a few hours on the dyno we got the car running nice & safe. The total timing advance at WOT is only 21 degrees and she's running a safe 11.7~11.8 AFR. The numbers were a little lower than I had estimated, but then again it was 98 degrees in his shop with a humidity level over 80%! Final numbers were 465/461.

Mods are as follows: JBA shorty headers, Magnaflow catted X-pipe, Magnaflow cat-back, K&N FIPK, C&L inlet pipe, BF TB, BF inlet, BF 2.93 upper.

It's definately a kick in the pants... BTW, how come the TB mod (I know you are aware of the little hp gain for the money). I love the way they look, and I know the throttle responce is awesome. That could be reason enough.

Well I wanted to max out both my intake & my exhaust as far as flow was concerned. I've always wanted to maximize HP & TQ without having to port the blower or open the motor. Not only did I add the TB and plenum, but I also added a C&L True Flow inlet pipe. So the only stock part left in my intake tract is the MAF and my exhaust is all aftermarket too. Just trying to get the max out of it is all...

Well, seeing how an engine is an air pump, it's a sound strategy to increase intake/ exhaust to the fullest:nice: Any plans to do a blower port to further maximize airflow. I am convinced of the port's effectiveness... I took out 2 other Cobras this past weekend. One had a 2.80, catless mid, catback and CAI. The other had 2.76,catless mid, catback and CAI. Both had competant drivers. I like the fact that I don't have to spin the blower to the moon to make good power. I let my buddy that has the 2.8 car drive my car, and after the drive he was like:jaw: He asked me to help pull his blower off this weekend to send it to Steggy lol.
