Finally Decided on Performer RPM and Steeda 19 Cam...objections?

Heads coming later. RPM and Steeda 19. My goal is to be able to take an LS1, from a stop OR roll. Can this combo with some Twisted Wedges get 'er done? BTW idle is VERY important to me, that is why I chose this cam.


O yes, and I plan on adding a blower in the future. I heard the steeda loves boost also.

How are you going to raise the rev limiter and shift point in the AODE? That will definitely be a problem you'll need to address with that intake and cam. I personally don't think you'll be all that happy with those mods on a stock headed car, but maybe I'm wrong.

I swapped my Performer Intake for an RPM intake for a few months this fall with the current combo in my sig. I ended selling the RPM and sticking with the Performer after a few trips to the drag strip and daily driving. Just something to keep in mind.

if you are worried about the idle then just stick with the stock cam, and just put an intake on, that will help alot! then do the cam when you do heads as that is when you will see the biggest difference .an intake can be done by itself but the cam takes awhole lot more work and you could just do that when you are in there doing the heads.
